Also remember that a slightly modified Shark did the OSTAR solo Atlantic race. The National Film Board has a copy of the race movie of the Shark and a trimaran which I think was driven by Mike Plant; Bob Lush, the skipper of the Shark, wore a hockey helmet for much of the race, due to getting thrown around the boat.

      Remember a 24ft shark with a husband ,wife and two kids and a Guitar sailed to Australia. The boat is still there today. My theory has always been if the boat is not holed it will float. It may be a rough ride but stay with the boat till you have to step up to the life raft.
