Used washers when I installed inboard tracks on our 34. Used 2 heavy (thick) washers for each bolt and installed track close to the corner where vertical and horizontal surfaces meet so there is no discernable deformation of the coach roof. Work just fine. Might want to get more info for boat your size though as your loads must be much larger than ours

  Subject: {Stus-List} Genoa Track Question

I am installing inboard tracks (for the # 3 & 4) on my the cabin trunk. Ideally I would like to back it with the 1 1/2" backing bar. However, it is proving more difficult than expected (big surprise) and I am contemplating using 1 1/2" backing washers.

Any experience using washers in this application? Thanks in advance.
