Just make sure you use AquaBuff 2000 (polishing) not AquaBuff 1000 (compounding) which is coarser grit.  Use plenty of water and a good polisher/buffer.  I use 2000 to finish off gelcoat repairs.  My opinion is that it's better than 3M's Finesse-It.

Another product you might want to consider it AquaBuff. A club member 
applied it two successive years to his Alberg 29 (purchased in Jacksonville 
in 2005, badly oxidized) and the result is astonishing.

The boat yard has given us a revised (lower) price on a awlgrip job that is 
very attractive. Our plan was to poli-glow the hull. The hull is badly 
oxidized & dark blue I'm asking for opinions. Is poli-glow as good as
