Stus-List Squeaky rudder post

Every other season or so, I have the same issue. Drop the swim ladder and open up deck to expose the quadrant. Spray a hefty amount of liquid wrench or other lubricant under the quadrant and turn the rudder back and forth a few times. Works every time.

All the best,

Short run for opening day yesterday and the steering was squeaking like crazy. It’s at the quadrant rudder post. There is no grease fitting on the rudder post like there were on our 35 MK1.

Any fellow 37+ or 34+ folks have a recommended approach to addressing this issue?
