Looking for a #3

If anyone knows of any used racing #3, or #2 for that matter, I’m in the market.
Looking to fit on a C&C 35 mk3.

FYI, I got local quotes last winter fort $4565 and $5275! The less expensive one we were talking vertical battens.
Figured I would hardly ever need it but this season has seen a good deal of wind on the Hudson.

Thanks in advance.

Hello George.

That sounds interesting. Reaching out to my sailmaker. Sounds too good to turn down.

George,My sailmaker is telling me to resist. Recutting will not have a great - good shape. Of course he’s motivated to get me to purchase a new sail….

This is a great deal for someone else.

Your sailmaker is right.

You just need to figure out how to sew, have a huge space to do the work,
become a sailmaker yourself, and recut the #3 and will probably learn along
the way why he's right for at least three or maybe twelve reasons

It sounds like a great deal but I imagine he'd have at least 40 hours into
recutting and stitching a new luff and foot.
